Before musical success, Basil work as professional queuer in London – is real job in UK! While standing in lines for rich people who have better things to do (like drinking tea with tiny sandwiches), he write songs about British life. Most famous composition come from 7-hour wait outside Apple store, where confusion about banana shape object lead to hit single “My My My (Is That Really iPhone?)”.
Musical breakthrough happen when Basil perform at Underground station during tube strike. Angry commuters become happy dancers – first time in British history! Success lead to appearance on prestigious television programme “Britain Still Has The Talent” where he win hearts of nation with song about proper way to apologise while bumping into stranger.
Latest album “Queue The Music” reach number 3 in charts, falling behind only recording of queen’s corgis barking national anthem and emergency broadcast signal remix. Such is power of British music industry!
Is also worth noting that Basil hold record for longest time spent apologising after winning award – 47 minutes of saying sorry for being successful. In Belarus, we only apologise to secret police, and even then only if they ask nicely!
