Fashion Designers - Make Costumes That Blind Audience (In Good Way)

Eurovision without spectacular costumes is like Belarus without potatoes – technically possible, but what is point?

We need COSTUMES! Glorious, outrageous, memorable costumes that make people gasp, photograph, and possibly question their eyesight. Sequins, feathers, LED lights, fabric that defies gravity – if you can dream it, we want to see it!

We’re looking for fashion designers and costume creators to contribute their original designs for our 2026 Adelaide production. This year, we’re especially excited to partner with local TAFE students who will be creating costumes as part of their studies – is perfect opportunity to add “Eurovision costume designer” to portfolio (much more interesting than “designed sensible office wear”).

What We Want:

Eurovision-style costumes – any style, any level of drama! Could be elegant gown, could be outfit made entirely of mirrors, could be something that requires engineering degree to put on. We are open to all interpretations of “wearable art”!

Your background? Professional designer, TAFE student, person who makes excellent Halloween costumes – if you can create something spectacular, we want to work with you!

Requirements:

Original designs (no copying, even from previous Eurovision – people will notice!)
Must be performable (performer needs to move, breathe, possibly dance without costume becoming hazard)
Should photograph well under stage lights (very important for social media glory)

What Happens Next:

Selected designers will see their creations on stage at Club Eurovision, worn by performers in front of enthusiastic live audience. Your work will be photographed, shared on social media, and possibly become iconic part of Adelaide Eurovision history!

Plus, if you are TAFE student, you get academic credit AND portfolio material. Is win-win situation, like finding money in old coat!
