Carla Papa

Originating in Adelaide with over 30 years of combined Dancing and teaching experience. Carla has studied with an extensive knowledge in all areas of tap, jazz, lyrical, music theatre and commercial jazz.

Having moved to Melbourne in 2001, she further advanced her dancing repertoire, working and performing in sell out shows nationwide as well as overseas.

With appearances in a number of television commercials, and performances as back up, her talent has been sought by many popular productions and performances. Having choreographed and performed with Ding Productions from its birth, locally and around Australia. Choreographer for Pelican Productions ‘Bring it on’,‘In the Heights’ and ‘Newsies’.

Choreographing for Adelaide Aerial Artists sell out shows. Carla, currently is a Tap teacher/lecturer at the University of Adelaide, for the Bachelor of Music Theatre degree.

She has had the privilege of performing and choreographing with Deni Hines, David Campbell, Tim Omaji, Ian Stenlake, Rachel Beck, Rhonda Burchmore, Rob Mills and Ruel. A rare commodity, her Dance experience and knowledge sets her aside where she currently runs her Dance school CPD, choreographs and performs in her home town of Adelaide.
